If you feel like modern life has you tied to technology, mindlessly rushing from one task to the next, never quite finding that elusive feeling of contentment - then following these habits will help you create more fulfilment in your daily life.
HABIT REVIEW: The starting point is to understand what we do mindlessly and replace it with mindful routines and actions that actively contribute to our happiness. As the saying goes, “you cannot manage what you do not measure.” Habits are the long standing, often unconscious aspects of our lives that we formed years ago and may no longer positively serve us. Actively assessing our habits, and exploring the science behind them, gives us a much better chance of achieving our goals. This fundamental aspect of setting goals and forming habits is often overlooked. We spend time reviewing the science and psychology of how habits are formed, changed and replaced and arm you with the tools to apply this to your daily life.
JOURNALING: Replace the crippling feeling of stress and anxiety the moment the alarm goes off with focus and purpose through journaling. Research has shown that writing down our thoughts, feelings and goals helps to release unprocessed emotions and calm the mind. Being mindful of our inner world is paramount to our happiness - learn how to effectively journal with a guided template.
MEDITATE: Explore the awakening benefits of meditation and find clarity of mind and joy in the present moment. Not everyone can achieve a state of complete stillness in the present, or completely calm the chatter of a busy mind, but we can all learn to witness our thoughts, feel more grounded and go about our day with a heightened sense of presence. Our guided meditations arm you with the tools to continue this practice. We spend time focusing on the breath and coaching you on how to move towards inner peace.
ORGANISE YOUR DAY: Discover how adding structure and goal oriented action plans can replace the wasteful experience of rushing around never achieving anything meaningful. We show you how to prioitise your day in accordance with the key aspects of life that contribute to your happiness. We also teach you skills and share methods that allow you to move from task to task with purpose as you learn how to manage your time and prioritise your goals.
MOVE WITH INTENTION: If your body aches and your energy levels are low it may seem counter intuitive to exercise, however intentional movement has been proven to leave you feeling more energised with the added benefits of improved flexibility, mobility and strength. Join in with our expert led Yoga and Fitness classes to explore the benefits of moving with intention as you alter your body chemistry and release hormones that promote physical and mental health.
COMMUNICATE WITH CLARITY: If you find yourself fixating on how interactions could have gone better, or ruminating on past relations, learning some communication secrets can vastly improve your life. No longer feel misunderstood as you learn how to communicate with clarity and listen with empathy.
EAT WELL: We all know the phrase you are what you eat, but how many of us truly understand the basics of nutrition? When we apply the science of nutrition to our life we can reap the rewards of a healthy mind and body. Our diet directly impacts our mood in the moment through blood sugar, hormone production and general energy levels, but it is also the source of our longevity or our illness. In this workshop we deliver the basics to ensure you can manage your weight and your health with an introductory session of nutrition.
COLD WATER THERAPY: Exposure to cold water has a number of benefits; stress reduction, improved circulation, helps reduce inflammation, lowers the resting heart rate, lowers blood pressure, as well as helping to build discipline and self belief. Through regular exposure to water < 11c your body adapts and offers some amazing physical rewards, but none more so than the feeling of being present in your body, in the present moment. For anyone struggling to calm the chatter of the mind, this is an amazing way to realise that you have the ability to endure more than you think, and to reconnect with your body in nature.
SLEEP: This area of life is seen as something we frequently are willing to sacrifice in order to ‘fit in’ everything else that matters. A lack of good quality sleep will undermine mental performance, impact positive emotions and place you in a state of fight or flight - always on edge or moody. A subpar daily performance can so easily be tolerated, yet also fixed. Following all of the above habits will contribute towards a good nights sleep, but we will also spend some time discussing the science of sleep and show you some simple ways to get a better nights sleep.

My mission is to live a happy and healthy life full of the things I love, whilst trying to support others to make positive changes in their lives.
As an ex-gymnast and dance enthusiast I’ve always had a passion for movement, but it was only after struggling with my mental health that I finally decided to look into the connection between my body and mind, which is how I became a yoga teacher. Yoga has taught me so much about who I am as a person, how to treat my body and also how to treat those around me. I want to be able to share those learnings with others.
I believe that everyone has the ability to learn how to use the breath and body to promote health and well-being on a physical, emotional and mental level. This belief forms the basis of my teaching and I encourage others to have a regular yoga practice to create positive change from within; increasing self-awareness and self-acceptance leading to inner peace and tranquility.
In my early twenties I had my first run in with depression, or at least this was the first time I acknowledged it. There was so much I wanted to improve about my life, but it all felt so overwhelming and out of reach.
It wasn’t until I began incorporating mindful practices into my daily life that I started to see a huge transformation. These daily rituals were the key to helping me declutter my mind and begin creating my dream life.
And these rituals, or as we like to call them ‘habits of happiness’, are exactly what we’ll be sharing with you so that you too can start living each day with intention and begin living your dream life.
Although everyone’s story is unique, the catalyst is always the same: a desire to make lasting change. By focusing on intentional living, I help people make lifestyle changes that positively impact their physical, mental and spiritual health, and ultimately live their ideal life.
The real reward of a yoga practice, is not mastering a handstand or being able to do the splits, it’s the rebirth of your authentic self that steps off the yoga mat and back into your daily life with intention.

For me life is about understanding, being understood and always striving to learn and improve; this keeps my ever shifting goals in congruence with an ever changing world.
For the last twenty years I’ve invested heavily in myself. I’ve studied, practiced and refined the skills and habits I now swear by. Although there is a lot to be said about where we ‘cut our cloth’ and what we do for a living, for me there is nothing more important than embodying your ethos through the things you do day-in, day-out.
I’ve always found exercise, physical activity and wellbeing to be an excellent way of managing my wider life in general – being healthy impacts every area of our life; eating well and staying fit requires discipline and knowledge, which led me to be more open to exploring psychology and mindfulness.
However, the true lessons in life are learned through the biggest tests – suffering loss and dealing set-backs taught me so much about myself. Changing careers, recovering from immobilising injuries and learning to adapt has required curiosity, patience and tenacity. But nothing more so than the inward inquiry to embark upon a daily decision to work towards self-mastery. All of these challenges and experiences have gifted me the opportunity to grow, while improving how I manage my daily life. I truly value the art of communication and being gifted in this area led me to the careers I’ve followed. These principles now form the foundation of my coaching practice.
I’m fascinated by the human psyche and passionate about helping people grow. I believe in a holistic approach to coaching, however experience has taught me that most people like a tangible goal to focus on. When you work with me you will always leave with an easy to follow programme and a deeper understanding of why we are focusing in the particular area of your choice.
Working as a Coach in Professional Development and formerly in Education, all the way back to being a Personal Trainer I’ve spent years coaching people in all aspects of their life; delivering seminars, designing curriculums for local authorities and where I currently work within Industry in a Learning and People Development role. All of this allowed me to acquire a vast amount of experience in what makes people ‘tick.’
Every client is an opportunity for me to learn and grow along with you – working with me you will find a tutor, a mentor, a friend and a coach, but above all else, someone that helps you understand yourself and holds you accountable.

We are passionate about all things health and wellness so have included a range of activities along with an array of great food and drink for you to enjoy. This workshop includes:
Arrive at 9:00am and depart by 6:30pm
Free time from 4:45pm to relax and use the facilities including Steam Room, Hot Tub, Relaxation Room
2 x 15 minute meditation sessions
2 x 30 minute movement sessions (energising and restorative)
1 x 15 minute guided journalling session
5 x 45 minute presentations on healthy habits
Guided cold water therapy
Option to enjoy a Mud Therapy treatment (extra charge)

✶ what if I’m brand new to all of this?
Whether you are a complete novice to any or all of this, or someone in the midst of your journey we welcome you. All of our workshops are deliberately limited to 6 people, this allows us to tailor the content to your needs. We always start by checking in with you to understand your needs and expectations in order to help you achieve your goals.
✶ How Quickly will I see positive results?
People see results instantly and we hope you feel some of the benefits within the workshop. However the real transformation takes place through consistently applying the practices. The workshop helps you establish long lasting habits. We also offer bespoke coaching sessions and other workshops which support maintaining these habits.
✶ Can I still attend if I’m unfit or carrying an injury?
Of course you can, we have both overcome injuries ourselves and see these practices as key strategies to help the body recover. In fact we welcome the idea of helping you on your road to fitness or recovery. We aim to support everyone that wants to attend and can tailor the practices to suit your needs.
